Albert Stern. L.Ac., MSAOM, LMT
A co-founder of Healing Village Collective, Albert is dedicated to providing a variety of healing techniques to patients. A licensed Acupuncturist, Chinese Herbalist, and Massage Therapist he combines the best of Eastern and Western bodywork. Albert works with each patient to determine the cause of an individual’s pain or disease. With each patients Albert sets goals and develops plans to monitor progress.
Albert has worked with a wide variety medical conditions and age groups. He is able to adjust his style to those wary of acupuncture needles. Albert often treats pain, anxiety, insomnia, depression, headaches, digestive issues, menstrual irregularities, pregnancy complications and skin issues. He has advanced training in supporting patients who have been diagnosed with cancer.
Albert received a Master's Degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine from Bastyr University in Washington State and his massage training at the Brenneke School of Massage in Seattle. He teaches locally at the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Albert also has advanced training in supporting patients undergoing cancer treatments.
Dr. Courtney C. Carag, ND, MSAOM
A co-founder of Healing Village Collective, Dr. Courtney blends natural Western medicine with Oriental medicine. As a licensed Naturopathic Doctor and licensed Acupuncturist, she combines both holistic traditions to comprehensively address imbalances and disease processes. In addition to providing a diversity of treatments, she educates patients to make better choices for improved health.
Dr. Courtney has a general family practice, working with patients of all ages and backgrounds. She commonly treats pediatric conditions, hormonal imbalances, women’s health issues, digestive issues, chronic inflammatory conditions, and provides pre- and post-surgical care to optimize healing. She has worked and studied internationally, including 3 internships integrating Western and Chinese Medicine in China & Taiwan. While in Naturopathic Medical school, she also performed an internship in La Paz, Bolivia focusing on Pediatric Care as well as an internship in Merida, Mexico focusing on HIV & AIDS. Additionally, she has advanced training in Pediatrics, Women’s Health and Fertility, Digestive Health, Visceral Manipulation, Homeopathy, and Detoxification/ Drug Recovery Support.
Dr. Courtney received her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Bastyr University. She performed her residency at a general family practice clinic near Vail, CO. She has been teaching locally at the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Denver for the past few years, instructing Masters students in Anatomy & Physiology, Western Medical Terminology, and Pharmacology.
