Denver Urban Gardens or DUG is the wonderful group that Courtney trained with earlier this year. As the name suggests, DUG is devoted to creating a connected network of deeply-rooted community gardens throughout Metro Denver.

The garden located in Aurora is having a garden party this Friday from 5-8pm.

They will have food, fresh vegetables, lemonade, garden corsages, and more.

If you are in the area this Friday check it out at: 1416 Dayton Street in Aurora, near the Aurora Arts District.

Denver Urban Gardens (DUG) is the extremely cool group that Courtney trained with this year. The mission of DUG is build community through urban gardens. They are a completely impressive organization and super professional.

On June 22nd DUG is holding their second annual GreenShoots at Root Down just about five minutes away from Healing Village Collective.

The event includes food, drink and a short documentary, A Garden in Every Neighborhood, which highlights the impact of community gardens on health.
